About Stagecoach V.F.D.:
Stagecoach Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 500 people living in an area of 40 square miles. We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Stagecoach Volunteer Fire Dept. is an all volunteer fire dept. in a rural area with I-10 running through it. It is located near the Florida Sheriff's Boy's Ranch which has hydrants.We organized in 1992 with a group of 60 people. 20 firefighters were trained in 1992. Our area is a rural farm area with some business and industry at the Interstate exit.We are supported by a grant each year from thSuwannee County and the County Fire Coordinator gives us support and direction.
