The Little Canada Fire Department proudly protects 9700 people living in an area of 4.5 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a paid on call status. The Little Canada Fire Dept. is a private corporation started in 1945. We have 36 paid on call professionals. The City of Little Canada is a mixture of commercial and residential buildings, over 50 % of our residents live in some form of multiple dwelling.
