We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. UPDATE!: Recently several changes were made to our EMS stucture. No longer do we operate separate of the Lehi Fire Department, we are now one combinded Fire/EMS organization. A full time Captain was hired to head the EMS part of the fire department and we anticipate many exciting changes. We provide emergency medical care to the citizens of Lehi, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, Cedar Fort, Fairfield, White Hills, and other unincorporated areas of northern Utah county. In 1999 we responded to 874 calls for sevice. In the year 2000 we project call volume to be about 1,000 to 1,100. We currently respond with three intermediate life support ambulances and one first response/rescue.
