About Lamoni FD:
Lamoni Fire Dept. proudly protects 1200/summer 2000/wenter people living in an area of 25 square miles. We operate out of one station stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are an all volunteer Fire Dept. with 22 members, males and females composed of Teachers, Farmers, Police res., Auto repair Tech, and Secretaries. We have two pumpers, one tanker, two grass trucks (250gal) Were all Haz_mat trained ( We have a major highway on the out skirts of town) We have Five E.M.S. trained personnel with one First Respnoder Unit.
