About Kilgore Fire Department:
Kilgore Fire Department proudly protects 25000 people living in an area of 100 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. Protecting the lives and property of the people who live, work and play in the city of Kilgore is our mission. We strive to provide excellence in service for everyone. The Kilgore Fire Department is composed of fully-paid professionals operating from fire stations strategically located throughout the community. Equipped with emergency power and vital communications equipment, the fire stations are prepared to operate on a round-the-clock basis to protect the quality of life in our city. Twenty four hours a day, every day of the year, a team of highly skilled specialists is on duty to respond to our community when emergencies occur. We hope that through the many services that the Kilgore Fire Department offers to our community we can have a better understanding and promote a partnership of citizens and government formed to encourage self-protection through awareness and education.
