Goose Rocks Beach Fire Department proudly protects 3720 people living in an area of 18.6 square miles. We operate out of 1 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. The GRB Fire Department is one of four volunteer fire departments in the Town of Kennebunkport. The town consists of mainly single family homes with many hotels and bed and breakfast facilities serving the tourists that chose the town their destination stop. In the summer months the population swells to over 20,000. It's primary industry is fishing and tourism. Kennebunkport is also the summer residence of former President and Mrs. George Bush.
