About Enfield Volunteer Fire Company:
Enfield Volunteer Fire Company proudly protects 3369 people living in an area of 36 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Enfield Volunteer Fire Company contracts with the Town of Enfield (NY) to provide Fire, EMS and Rescue services to the town and it's residents. The Company has been proudly serving the Town of Enfield for over 50 years, having been founded in early 1948.Our active membership averages around 45 members of which at present 18 are medically trained.The Fire Company covers two major state routes, route 327,a very scenic route around Robert Treaman Park and route 79 a very fast paced narrow roadway.
