About Indian Valley Fire Department:
Indian Valley Fire Dept. proudly protects 675 people living in an area of 100 square miles. We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are volunteer fire, EMS, and whatever is needed type department. We are financed by volunteer efforts and community assistance in addition to a small tax base. We have worked very hard to upgrade our department, and are justifiably proud of what we have accomplished. We have 23 members, 11 of whom are EMTs, plus an auxiliary who helps where they are needed.
