About Indian Hills Fire & Rescue:
Indian Hills Fire and Rescue proudly protects 1200 people living in an area of 12 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Established in 1947, this small fire department is in the foothills west of Denver. Encompasses 3 miles of US 285 in Turkey Creek Canyon (approx. CO-8 to Brookmont Road), Parmalee Gulch Road including the top portion of Mt. Falcon Open Space Park. Western boundary is Parmalee Gulch Road and Inca Road. We are surrounded by Evergreen Fire Protection District, Foothills Fire Protection District, West Metro Fire District, and Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District.
