Hunter Fire Department proudly protects 450 people living in an area of 150 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Hunter Fire Department also responds with the Hunter Ambulance Service on all vehicle accidents and mass casualty incidents in a 400 square mile area of NE Cass County and SE Traill County.
