Banks County Fire & EMS proudly protects 15-20,000 people living in an area of 375 square miles. We operate out of 10 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.Banks County Fire & EMS serves the growing community of Banks County,and provides mutual aid and first responder agreements to the surrounding municipalities. We offer fulltime fire and ALS services.The department is now at a 1st Responder operations hazardous material response team level.The Department has an ISO rating of 5 over all at present.
