HASTY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT proudly protects 1000 people living in an area of 150 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. HASTY VFD IS JUST 3 YEARS OLD BUT IS ONE THE TOP DEPT. IN NEWTON CO. WE HAVE 5 TRUCKS AND 25 MEMDERS.AND A LOW RESPONCE TIME.
