The Harrison Fire Dept is located in the Town/Village of Harrison,Westchester County,NY. We are led into action by Volunteer Chief Ralph Straface,jr, a 17 year veteran. Our dept. is comprised of 14 professional firefighters and 15 volunteers. Minimum manning is presently 3 professional firefighters per shift, working a 3 on, 3 off schedule averaging 42 hours per week. Last year the dept responded to over 600 fire calls. Besides fire protection, the dept also offers a fire prevention program, fire inspections,and code inforcement.
