About Mt. Aetna Volunteer Fire Department:
Mt. Aetna Vol Fire Department proudly protects 3500 people living in an area of Approx. 35 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Mt. Aetna Volunteer Fire Department Was incorporated in 1969. The area which we serve is a fast growing area. We serve I-70 from the Frederick County line to the Rt. 40 bridge. We have three major attractions in our first due, Greenbriar State Park, the Mason Dixon Dragstrip, and the Black Rock Golf Course.
