Greenville Vol. Fire Dept. proudly protects 11000 people living in an area of 65 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Our Dept. is located close to the center of Muhlenberg county in the city of Greenville. We are one of eight Depts. that protect the county and are paged out by a central dispatch 911 office. We have 28 Vol. and 5 paid firemen of which 6 are EMT's 1 Paramedic and 2 certified divers.
