Green Pond Vol. Fire Dept. proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 200 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Green Pond V.F.D. was started in 1973 with one truck and a few members. It has grown to three station and ten trucks with 24 members. With a current ISO rating of 7.
