Great Bend Hose Co. #1, Inc. proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 7 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are a small volunteer company residing in north eastern PA. We are located along interstate 81 (last exit in PA before NY), US Route 11, and PA Route 171. The department has approximately 50 members with 35 being active in fire fighting. We provide service to the Borough of Great Bend, Great Bend Township North, and Windsor District #4 in New York State.
