The Grand Island Fire Department proudly protects 75000 people living in an area of 570 square miles. We operate out of four stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. The Grand Island Fire Department has been providing professional emergency services the citizens of Grand Island and Hall county for over 100 years. We also provide paramedic ambulance services including long distance paramedic transport service.
