About North Hood County Volunteer Fire Department:
North Hood County Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 2400 people living in an area of 26 square miles. We operate out of two stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. North Hood County Fire Deaprtment is located just outside of the Granbury city limits and currently has a personel staff of 14. We have 2 brush trucks, one tanker, one engine, and one first responder EMS vehicle.
