About Walsh County Emergency Medical Services:
Walsh County Emergency Medical Services proudly protects 20000 people living in an area of 1754 square miles. We operate out of two stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. Walsh County Emergency Medical Services is a paramedic intercept service that works with the BLS services in Walsh County, North Dakota. This was the first ALS intercept program in North Dakota. We provide ALS care, EMS education, and techical assistance throughout Northeast North Dakota. Our ultimate goal is to provide the highest level of patient care through education and collaboration with other emergency providers throughout the region.
