GOULDSBORO VOL.FIRE COMPANY / STATION 55 proudly protects varies per season people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Gouldsboro volunteer fire company , located in Northeastern Pennsylvania is the meeting point of 3 counties ... Lackawanna , Wayne and Monroe. The GVFC provides a large variety of emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens of Gouldsboro. The services can encompass anything from rescuing a cat out of a tree or pumping out a residents basement to responding to motor vehicle accidents and structural fires. 55 runs on a 2nd alarm for the following districts: Station 14 (Covington township), Wayne county Company 23 (Greene Dreher)and a 2nd alarm FAST team response to Station 7 (Moscow). We will also respond equipment as requested by other depts.
