Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Located along NY Route 26 approximately 10 miles NW of Binghamton, New York, GAFD is comprised of +/- 15 active members. We operate utilizing two engines, two tankers, one brush truck and an ambulance converted to multi-purpose squad. Our med team also uses the squad for first-response EMS duties throughout the Town of Nanticoke in Broome County, New York.
