Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. proudly protects 1000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Girdletree Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1953. The Company is all volunteer with 35 firefighters and 5 associate EMS members. We have 3 charter members still active.
