Southwest Broward Volunteer Fire Rescue is formerly the Davie Volunteer Fire Department until 1980 when Davie no longer required the services of a Volunteer Fire Department. Southwest Broward Volunteer Fire Rescue was founded in 1983 with the remaining active Volunteer Firefighters from the Davie Volunteer Fire Department. We run the majority of our calls with Broward County Fire Rescue Squrt 81 and Engine 67, which is stationed out of Weston.
