About Fox Lake Fire Department:
Fox Lake Fire Department proudly protects 30,000 people living in an area of 55 square miles. We operate out of 4 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are a combination of paid and volunteer status. Founded in 1908 the Fox Lake Fire Department is very dynamic. The Fire Department is comprised of three well established and organized groups, all working together to assure our communities the best fire and emergency medical services available. The three groups are as follows; the Village of Fox Lake Fire Department, the Fox Lake Fire Protection District and the Fox Lake Volunteer Fire Department. All three of these organizations play a vital role in serving our communities. The Fox Lake Fire Department proudly serves all or part of the following communities in Northeastern Illinois: Village of Fox Lake, Village of Round Lake, McHenry, Ingleside, Lakemoor, Spring Grove, Volo, Grant and Antioch Townships.
