Fort Irwin Fire Department proudly protects 15000 people living in an area of 1000 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status. The Ft. Irwin fire department has 30 personnel and 11 pieces of apparatus serving the U.S. Army's National Training Center. Our services include structural response, crash rescue, wildland and ems just to mention a few.
