About Forestville Fire Protection District:
FORESTVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT proudly protects 10000 + people living in an area of 17 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Including servicing residential and extreme rural settings within our district, Forestville Fire covers a large section of the lower Russian River area of Sonoma County. We have an active Swift Water Rescue Team for that purpose as well as being the Command center for the western Sonoma County in case of flooding or disaster. Our area is also well known for the abundance of Wineries that produce award winning wines recognized around the world.
