About Florence volunteer Fire Department:
Florence Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 249 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. One of the oldest Fire Departments in Colorado, with a rich history. Our Department has one of the best Fire Dept. Competition Teams in the State. With several State Overall Trophies. We are lucky to have a very supportive population, which aid us in the purchase of new equipment and up to date training.
