Fishers Landing Volunteer Fire Dept. proudly protects 1000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Town of Orleans Fire District is divided up into 3 divisions, LaFargeville FD, Fishers Landing FD, and Wellesey Island FD. The Fishers Landing FD is located on the St. Lawrence River in the 1000 Islands region. One major landmark in our district is the 1000 Islands Bridge. The residents in our area are generally summer residents, but we do have a few year-round residents.
