About Ferry Pass Fire Dept.:
Ferry Pass Fire Dept proudly protects 25000 people living in an area of 12 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily commercial area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Ferry Pass Fire Dept. is 1 of 16 fire departments that serve Escambia County, Florida. The FPFD covers approx. 12 sq. miles in the east-central portion of the county. The area served is suburban with residential, heavy commercial, industrial, manufacturing, institutional, and educational districts. The Dept. currently has 40 members that provide fire protection, fire suppression, fire prevention, ems first responder, extrication, hazmat first responder, and public fire education services. These services are provide utilizing 3 Engines, 2 Aerials, 1 Medium Rescue and a Foam Trailer. The Ferry Pass Fire Department continualy strives to provide the best fire protection to the residents of Ferry Pass and Escambia County.
