The Falmouth Fire Department, located in Falmouth, Maine, is regularly called upon to protect it’s citizens and surrounding neighbors. Falmouth, a seacoast community situated on Casco Bay, is a suburb of Maine’s largest city, Portland and is surrounded by the towns of Cumberland, Windham, and the cities of Westbrook and Portland. The Department is currently under the direction of Chief James F. Robertson. Chief Robertson is the only full time paid employee and there are approximately 50 active paid on call firefighters.
