About Exeter Vol. Fire Dept # 1:
We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are an all volunteer dept covering the eastern half of Exeter Rhode Island. We currently have 9 pieces of appratus 3 engines 2 tankers 1 ladder truck 1 brush truck and 1 mini pumper combo.
