About Evans Mills Volunteer Fire District:
Evans Mills Fire Dept proudly protects 450 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Established in 1922 as the Evans Mills Vol. Fire Dept. We currently cover parts of the Town of LeRay and Village of Evans Mills. We also provide Mutual Aid to Pamelia, Calcium, Fort Drum, Philadelphia, Theresa, and Antwerp. We presently have 43 active members.
