About Eldorado Fire Department:
Eldorado Fire Department proudly protects 7600 people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. We are a municipal fire department and are located in Southeastern Illinois. We serve the City of Eldorado and the villages of Raleigh and Wasson. We have a full time Fire Chief and 23 paid per call firefighters. We run fire and rescue calls, and are toned for alarms from the Eldorado Dispatch, all other calls are ran through 911, which is located at the Saline County Central Dispatch, in Harrisburg.
