About Deer Creek Fire Protection District:
The Deer Creek Fire Protection District is a Rural Fire Protection District, established and governed by the rules set forth in Oklahoma Title 19 State Statutes.
The Fire Protection District was officially formed by a vote of the citizens of the Deer Creek area in 1996. Prior to that time the Deer Creek Volunteer Fire Department provided fire protection services for the area. The district is ruled by a 5 member elected board of directors and is funded by ad valorem property taxes paid by each property owner within the fire district.
We currently operate with 1 station/administrative offices, 2 structural pumpers, 1 pumper/tanker, 1 tanker, 3 brush pumpers, 1 light rescue/quick attack and 2 staff/command vehicles. Our staff consists of both part-time paid and paid-on-call personnel. The station is staffed by 2 paid personnel 7-days-a-week from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
If you have any questions or needs, please contact the station at (405) 216-0665 or the Public Information Officer at (405) 520-2893 cell or (405) 647-8806 pager.
