The Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest covers an area of the western part of the coverage from southwest to northeast. The state forest has 35.7 miles of off road mountain bike trails, 104.5 miles of hiking / skiing trails and several miles of horse trails. The state forest is a cooperative coverage area between the Eagle Fire Department and the Department of Natural Resources.
