About Dyersville Fire Department:
Dyersville Fire Department proudly protects 4500 people living in an area of 68 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. A forty member all volunteer fire department. We have hosted the IA FIremen's Assoc.Convention twice, 1981 & 1991. Former Chief, Robert C. Platz is Past President of the Ia Firemen's Assn. Bob also currently serves on the NVFC.
