The Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Dept/ First Responder Unit provides Fire Protection and First Responder EMS protection to the Lake Seminole area. The Fire Dept. operates out of one station and is dispatched thru the Donalsonville Fire Department which is approximately 20 miles away. The First Responder Unit is dispatched through Seminole Co. Ambulance Service, which is also in Donalsonville. The Fire Department was established in 1979 with one fire truck. The First Responder Unit was established in 1997 and is still new to the community.
