About Dalzell Fire Department:
Dalzell Fire Department proudly protects 650 people living in an area of 2.5 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. WE are a samll department with appx. 20 members. We currently run out of 1 station with 2 pieces of euipment. We also provide 1st responder service for the town prior to the 10/33 Ambulance Service Ltd. responds. We general average 2 structure fires a year and about 15 1st responder calls a year.
