Coats - Grove Fire & Rescue Inc. proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Coats - Grove Fire & Rescue Inc. serves what was once a small rural farming community, but the community is quickly becoming a bedroom community for Research Triangle Park, Fort Bragg, as well as other areas. The department handles Fire, Rescue, and EMS Services for our community. The department currently has a total of six fulltime and two part-time staff that run call 24 Hours a Day seven days a week and 34 volunteers that run actively.
