Clute Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 10280 people living in an area of 5 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Organized in 1945. We have 31 members including 1 Chief, 2 Asst. Chiefs, 2 Captains, & 2 Lts. We cover residential and commerical businesses. We average around 120 calls per year with an average response time of 4 minutes.
