We operate out of One stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. CFD members proudly serving the community also belong to a membership made of existing and past Firemen that have served the community. The Clintonville Firemen's Association members are active in supporting the community through volunteer work and fund raising to help support needed training and equipment for the city. The biggest contributions to the CFD in recent years are seen in a thermal image camera, 8-wheel ARGO unit to assist EMS and wildland fires and the purchase of a training center.
