We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Clarksville Fire Department has a four-story training facility, burn building, classrooms, Natural and LP gas fire simulators, tanker fire simulator, smoke maze, and SCUBA training tanks. The department has an in-house cascade room for SCBA service and trained service technicians for the the SCBA's used by the department. We also have a mobile SCBA air compressor, cascade, and filter system. The Clarksville Fire Department completed an upgrade in its training facility to multi-hazard training through a grant from FEMA. Training for fire, police, and emergency workers can be handled by the department. The project was completed in August of 1998.
