Claremont Fire Department proudly protects 6000 people living in an area of 4 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. One paid Chief, thirty-two volunteer Firefighters, and three volunteer Jr. Firefighters. Who all work out of four -bay brick building, in which we moved into in December of 2000. We average around 180 calls a year.
