Jack's Valley Fire Department proudly protects 3700+ people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. Our district has grown rapidly with a population of over 3,700 people in over 2,200 homes, 2 churches, a shopping center, 24 hour athletic club, an industrial/warehouse area, 3 golf courses with restaurants, a 24 hour gas station and the Jack's Valley Elem. School. Douglas County has approved more than 1,000 new housing units, a hotel-casino, and another major shopping center.
