We operate out of one station that protects a primarily suburban area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We currently maintain about 25 members, which includes three chiefs, three captains, and three lieutenants. We also have six EMT's, and seven First Responders. We have one five seat class A pumper manufactured by Emergency One and one eight seat class A rescue pumper with extrication equipment built by Southern Coach. This truck is currently out of service, due to a head on collision with a log truck while parked on scene at a motor vehicle accident. Currently we using a six-seat 1997 Southern Coach rescue pumper that was loaned to us by another department while ours is being repaired. One rescue squad built by Emergency One and Ford, two brush trucks, and two staff vehicles. We have a fairly new station with six-truck bays, kitchen facilities, and TV lounge and training room, bunkroom and offices. Pictures are available upon request. We average approximately 80 calls per month. We do respond to mostly to EMS calls, but we do not transport.
