About Canandaigua Fire Department:
Combination department with 15 career and 20 volunteers. 2 Engines and 1 Quint first line, 1 Engine Reserve and 1 Rescue unit (Expedition - primarily EMS). 2004 stats 1910 runs, 920 of them first responder EMS calls.
2 Stations covering 42 square miles with a small city/rural make-up. Adjacent to Canandaigua Lake (Finger Lakes) with cold water rescue team, confined space team, fast team.
