We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Our district includes Queechy Lake(a 140 acre lake) and the Berkshire Farm School. We also cover a section of the New York State Thruway, Berkshire Spur section including exit B-3. Additionally we cover a section of the CSX and Amtrack railroad tracks. The population of the district almost doubles in the summertime.
