Brookland Fire Protection District proudly protects 4000 people living in an area of 64 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Brookland FPD covers the city of Brookland, AR which has a population of 1200. Most of the district is rural and suburban covering approximately 64 sq. miles. Brookland FPD 3 engines, 3 tankers, 3 brush trucks, and a well equipped service van. The Brookland Fire Protection District began First Responder service in June 1997.
