About Britt Fire Department:
Britt Fire Department proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 85 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Britt Fire Department's 24 members meet twice per month to train and conduct department business. Several members attend fire schools throughout the state at various times of the year. We also provide coverage to the Hancock County Speedway during the racing season.
